Tales from the edge, export controls, Paris priority claims and working remotely: Preventing problems before they happen

Original air date: 6/21/17
This course has expired and is no longer eligible for CLE.

IP lawyers must manage deadlines, across state lines and to and from other countries. All of these present unique challenges when trying to stay on the right side of USPTO and ethics rules. Some problems must be avoided, as they cannot be fixed later and some can be fixed, if you know what to do. Paris priority claims, working remotely and US export controls all have potential pitfalls that could have serious repercussions.

Come learn how to avoid the edge, what do to when you find out you are already over it or a client comes to you with something that somebody else let go over the edge.
