Adam Gill is a founder and Managing Director at GLS Capital and leads patent-related investments. Nicole Galli

Nicole D. Galli is the founder and Managing Partner of the Law Offices of N.D. Galli LLC, a boutique law firm located in Philadelphia and New York that focuses on business litigation and advice, especially with regard to intellectual property protection. Nicole’s practice focuses on commercial and IP litigation, IP counseling and trade secrets. Nicole has represented numerous operating companies in litigation in a variety of industries and types of matters, has assisted clients seeking litigation funding, has represented non-practicing entities in patent litigation, and serves as counsel for a litigation funder with respect to intellectual property matters. In addition to her client work, Nicole serves as an “Equity Project Champion” for The Equity Project, a groundbreaking initiative of Burford Capital, a leading global finance and investment management firm focused on law, designed to help close the gender gap in law by providing an economic incentive for change through a $50 million pool of capital earmarked for financing commercial litigation matters led by women.
Scott Humphrey

Scott Humphrey is a partner in Seyfarth Shaw’s Trade Secrets, Computer Fraud, & Non-Compete Practice Group. He serves on the group’s National Steering Committee and has successfully prosecuted and defended trade secrets and restrictive covenant cases throughout the United States. In doing so, Mr. Humphrey has successfully obtained and defeated temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and permanent injunctions, involving trade secret and restrictive covenant matters for clients in the technology, securities and financial services, surgical, pharmaceutical, transportation, electronics, software, insurance, healthcare, consumer products, and manufacturing industries. Mr. Humphrey has also worked with and advised state legislatures on trade secret and restrictive covenant statutes.
Jim Shead

As Lead Counsel at CommScope, Jim is responsible for providing legal support directly to the General Counsel and to all departments, primarily in the area of litigation support and management. Jim is involved in hiring and managing outside counsel, and oversees strategy and filings in a large docket of active litigations and patent office proceedings. Jim's practice also involves fielding indemnity and cooperation/investigation requests from customers, negotiating IP licenses, drafting/reviewing inter partes review petitions, advising transactional attorneys within CommScope on best practices related to avoiding undesired litigation outcomes, and crafting/executing settlement strategies at all stages of a conflict. Jim's responsibilities include managing a team of litigation support attorneys within CommScope. Jim participates in and supports the invention disclosure and patent prosecution efforts.
