This topic will discuss the impacts of the Supreme Court’s pronouncement that all authorized sales exhaust patent rights, addressing the renewed importance of defining licensee rights to sell products, and the potential value in redefining sales transactions as a lease with rights to use the patented invention.

Emerging Issues In 3rd Party Rights/Obligations To The Parties. This topic will focus on the flow through rights and obligations between universities, inventors, and upstream and downstream companies.
