Starting IP Programs From Scratch

Original air date: 6.4.20.
This course is not eligible for CLE.

The protection of Intellectual Property (IP) rights is an important aspect of the business operations of every company. Similarly, compliance with copyright and license obligations for the use of open source software is also important to business operations. There are challenges, however, to establishing the internal practices and procedures through which IP is identified and protected, and confirming compliance with open source software obligations gives rise to other challenges. We are pleased to present a panel of in-house attorneys to discuss a number of best practices for building IP and open source software compliance programs from scratch.
