Farheena Y. Rasheed is Deputy Solicitor at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In that capacity, she manages litigation defending the decisions of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board before the Federal Circuit, works with the Department of Justice on intellectual property cases before the Supreme Court, and provides legal advice to other USPTO components.
Christy Lea resolves high-stakes patent and trade secret disputes at both the trial and appellate levels. With over two decades of experience, she has briefed and supported numerous appellate arguments at the Federal Circuit. Most recently, she helped obtain affirmance of the CardiAQ v. Neovasc $112 million judgment, which the National Law Journal ranked as the #6 IP verdict in 2016.
William Jenks is a solo practitioner specializing in complex patent issues and appeals. Before founding his firm, Mr. Jenks practiced before the Federal Circuit as an Associate Solicitor in the PTO Solicitor’s Office and, later, as a member of Gibson Dunn’s Appellate group. He has briefed and argued numerous appeals before the Federal Circuit.
