The importance of protecting chemical and pharmaceutical inventions in India, cannot be overstated. The Indian pharmaceutical industry is the world’s third largest by volume and fourteenth largest in terms of value. India is also the largest provider of generic drugs globally. In this webinar, the speaker Mr. Sharad Vadehra, who is one of the leading Patent Attorneys in India having experience of over 32 years in drafting, prosecuting and litigating chemical and pharmaceutical patent applications; is going to elaborate on how to obtain and enforce chemical and pharmaceutical Patents in India. Mr. Sharad Vadehra, while focusing on unique aspects under Indian law, will cover varied topics, inter alia, protectable inventions in India, patent eligibility requirements, handling office actions, pitfalls to avoid and recent case laws.

Each program requires individual jurisdiction approval, and each jurisdiction has different approval guidelines and time frames so programs may not be pre-approved for CLE. Program accreditation is sought in all attendee requested jurisdictions and may be available for up to one year after the original air date. CLE reporting and/or certificates of attendance may take up to 4 weeks for processing.
