Two-Day AIPLA CLE Web Series: Hot Topics in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Patent Practice

Following the wildly successful joint program of the Chemical Practice and Biotechnology Committees at the 2022 AIPLA Spring Meeting in New Orleans, AIPLA and the Committees will host a two-day program where an amazing selection of world-class U.S experts will discuss Hot Topics in Chem and Pharmaceutical U.S. Patent Practice. Day 1 will discuss Duty of Candor, genus and species claims, and Section 101 in chemical/pharma cases. Day 2 will discuss the Amgen v. Sanofi Supreme Court decision, means-plus-function claims in chem and pharma, red-hot legal issues in pharmaceutical labeling, with an emphasis on REMS claims, and obviousness-type double patenting.

AIPLA is an approved provider by most jurisdictions requiring CLE. Each program requires individual jurisdiction approval, and each jurisdiction has different approval guidelines and time frames so programs may not be pre-approved for CLE. Program accreditation is sought in all attendee requested jurisdictions and may be available for up to one year after the original air date. Specialized credits (Ethics, Elimination of Bias, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Technology, etc.) approval varies by jurisdiction.
