Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion should be at the forefront of our minds. But what are the best ways to incorporate these concepts into your daily practice? Two admission professionals will share how their relationship with their DEI Directors helped keep their school communities healthy and happy. We will share some stories and strategies about how this partnership is essential for your profession and the school.

Alleviating Bias in the Admission Process
We all have bias but what is implicit bias and how does it impact our admission and enrollment processes? Join facilitators from DeEtta Jones & Associates to gain a deeper understanding about bias and discuss best practices for removing implicit bias in the admissions and financial aid awarding processes.

The objectives of this session are to:
● Learn, share, and discuss biases and barriers that impact the admissions and enrollment processes
● Identify common concerns and identify ways to address them
● Recommend organizational values that can enable school admissions professionals to facilitate equitable and bias-free admissions processes
