us for this interactive hands-on workshop for the new admission director. If
you are completing your first year as a Director of Admission and Enrollment or
have just begun your journey as a new director, this workshop is for you! Our
time together as a cohort and the sessions offered will set you up for success
in your role. Through personal reflection, you will learn more about yourself
as a leader and map out goals and strategies for the coming year. You will hear
from other leaders in the field on “lessons learned as a new director” and have
the opportunity for breakout discussions with like-minded admission and
enrollment professionals at the same point in their journey.
This
workshop includes the following topics:
- Leadership goals and strategies for the coming year
- Empowering your Faculty and Staff to embrace their roles on the Admission Team
- A panel of admission professionals on “Lessons learned as a new Director”
- Governance and the relationship between you, the Board, the CFO, and the Head of School. This will include a primer on School finances
- Establishing a culture of trust: Managing your team and giving feedback.

Those who have just completed their first year as a Director and those who have just started as new Directors for 2022-2023.
Space is limited to ensure the sessions will be highly interactive.
This is a multi-day event covering different material each day. Please mark yourself out of the office for each day. We will take breaks and the sessions will be interactive but they will not be recorded.
