Thank you Thenk you for joining us today. Contributors Jenny Faucher, DES Jenny is the President and CEO of Managing Matters Inc, which is an accredited AMC. She charts the course for Managing Matters strategic vision of enabling clients to grow, enhance their brand and deliver value to all stakeholders. Jenny serves as an advisor to prospective new clients in educating them about the unique and customized service options that Managing Matters can offer them. Jenny is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association Management Company Institute (AMCI), Canadian Chapter, and also serves on the AMCI Annual Meeting 2021 and 2022 committees. Jenny is a Forty Under 40® Award recipient from the Association Forum of Chicagoland USAE, and was a 2018 EY Entrepreneur of the Year nominee. Jenny led Managing Matters to win a Silver Stevie® Award for Great Employers in 2018. In 2018 Managing Matters was ranked 31 out of 50 for best small business to work for in Canada by Great Place to Work® JJ Colburn, CAE JJ Colburn, CAE, is a Principal at Strategic Association Management (SAM). In his role, he provides association clients with executive leadership and strategic counsel, mentors and develops staff, and identifies and grows business opportunities. With more than 20 years of executive level experience in the association management industry and more than six years in public education as a teacher and counselor, his career has been dedicated to supporting and improving individual and organizational development. JJ also currently serves as the executive director of the Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT), an education association serving more than 6,000 members. JJ was the 2016-2017 Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) and was recognized by TSAE as the 2019 Texas Association Executive of the Year. He has been conferred by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and was selected as Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) scholar with ASAE in 2013. A native of Orange, Texas, he was honored as a Distinguished Alumni of the Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD in 2012. JJ is an avid reader and a diehard Texas Longhorn fan. He has a BA in Psychology and M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, both from The University of Texas at Austin. Jodi Fisher, CAE Jodi Fisher, CAE - Chief Executive Officer and FounderSince 1995 Jodi Fisher has been providing executive support to Associations, Fortune 500 companies, small business owners, and non-profit organizations, and in 2006 she founded Impact Association Management. Jodi guides her team to successfully manage small and medium sized Associations located throughout the country.Her passion lies in developing her staff to provide efficient, professional services that ultimately lead to strategic, continuous organizational growth for our Association clients.Jodi serves on leadership roles in the Association Management community including ASAE’s AMC Advisory Council, WSAE’s Nominating Committee, and AMCI’s AMCs Engaged Committee. Kate O’Donnell, CAE Senior Vice President, MarCom & Brand StrategyKate O'Donnell oversees marketing and communications initiatives for MCI USA, creating experiential communications and building brands from concept to fruition. Kate leads the marketing and creative strategy and planning for dozens of MCI’s national and global clients, including branding, campaign messaging, website, social media, events, and advertising.Kate is also a leader in MCI USA’s Strategic Consulting business unit, overseeing a team of consultants who provide practical, innovative counsel in key performance areas. An accomplished association executive, Kate has served as Managing Director of Exis, a global commercial real-estate brokerage and advisory organization servicing thousands of clients worldwide, and previously served as Executive Director of the Environmental Design Research Association.Prior to joining MCI USA, Kate spent six years with the ABC Television daytime drama General Hospital, where she held a number of positions in the writing, production, and casting departments. Her previous experience includes serving as Public Relations Manager for Santa Rosa Medical Center in northern Florida, where she implemented a successful marketing campaign for the labor and delivery unit, operated as the creative director for television advertising, and served as editor of Healthy Connections, a county-wide publication with a reader circulation of more than 35,000.Kate has a bachelor’s degree in communications from American University in Washington, D.C. Molly Marsh, CMP Molly Marsh has over 13 years of experience in association management, conferences, education and program development. As AMR’s Director of Education and Events, she has been responsible for reimagining the model of educational programming for AMR clients and innovating new approaches to conference education through design principles, adult learning, new technologies and engagement strategies. In addition to conference programming, Molly’s association experience includes member engagement and development, communications and marketing, committee management, board development and support, professional development training (in-person and online) and content strategy. Her passion is rooted in designing educational experiences and organizational systems that elevate the professionalism of association members who strive to be the best at what they do!
