Description

The webinar will review the the ESICM Clinical Practice Guidelines (Rochwerg, 2020) recently published in Intensive Care Medicine, regarding the use of Nasal High Flow in adult patients.

The program objectives are to:
1. Understand the process for generating evidence-based recommendations for clinical practice and use of HFNC
2. Evaluate the evidence base supporting HFNC for a number of common clinical scenarios (eg. hypoxemia, intubation, post-extubation)
3. Discuss the recommendations for use of HFNC and the associated rationale supporting these recommendations.
