Description

This webinar will discuss how to use the virtual patient in complex implant surgery and prosthetic rehabilitation, and how it improves and simplifies the treatment workflow both for the dentists and the patients.

Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be able to: 1) describe what data is needed for creating a virtual patient for complex implant rehabilitation treatment; 2) explain the method of integrating occlusion data into the virtual patient; and 3) create a workflow using pre-surgery digital implant planning data for CAD/CAM at the prosthetic stage.

    Dr. Jayden (Junying) Li is currently a Clinical Lecturer and Research Fellow in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine, School of Dentistry, University of Michigan. He completed his Prosthodontics Residency training in 2015 at West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University in China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Dental Medicine in 2019 from West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University. He is the recipient of the 2017-2018 Dentsply Sirona Implant Fellowship in the School of dentistry, University of Michigan. He has been focused on digital technologies in dental implant treatment and prosthetic rehabilitation. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles.
