When Courts reopen in a Post-Pandemic
environment, changes to managing the court calls, staffing, and general
operations of the court system will be dramatically changed. Through this
course, we will explore options to safely
reopen the court system and how changes can be implemented. This course will include discussions on remote hearings, how to
submit exhibits, safety of Jurors, physical protective measures for patrons
and court employees, the scheduling of court and the return to work of court
As a result
of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify areas of concern
- Prepare a plan for safe jury
- Implement remote communications for hearings
- Safely re-open the Circuit Court Clerk's office and public areas of the court.
