  • Hon. Tammy Weikert, Circuit Clerk, Rock Island County, 14th Judicial Circuit

Tammy’s career began nearly 23 years ago in the Rock Island County Circuit Clerk’s Office. She was appointed clerk of the circuit court in 2015 and elected in 2016. During her career, the clerk’s office has gone through an amazing transformation. From moving into a new Courthouse, converting all paper records to an electronic format, assisting the court with managing their cases electronically and reducing barriers for self-represented litigants, the clerk’s office is now mostly entirely paperless. Tammy was appointed to the Access to Justice Commission, Supreme Court Public Relations Task Force, Remote Access Policy Implementation subcommittee and workgroup for Re: SearchIL, serves as President of Zone 5 of the Illinois Association of Court clerks and Co-Chair of the Supreme Court’s COVID-19 Task Force Subcommittee.
