State & Federal Court Series: That Wasn't Me! "Deep Fake" Evidence - Determining What's Real

Developed by the Joint State and Federal Workgroup of the Illinois Judicial College Committee on Judicial Education, this course will explore the authentication and admissibility of artificial intelligence and computer-generated evidence, as well as “deep fake” content and how it may impact litigation.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the latest scientific research and legal opinions concerning artificial intelligence, computer science, and “deep fake” evidence
  • Recognize the prevalence of fake and artificial evidence
  • Determine the admissibility of deep fakes and computer-generated evidence
