team can be even more challenging! If you are looking to expand and grow
your business, who you have working for you is critical to your success. There
is a lot to consider when you build a team; from recruiting, to on-boarding, to
career advancement paths, employment perks and more. Megan won the Empowering
Employee Leader award from a local business group in 2019 and currently employs
over 20 trainers. In this session, she will share why her business is
recognized for their team. Whether you run a business with employees, are
managing a team or are looking at ways to begin to hire, this session will help
you create your dream team. Having the right team is essential to help you
reach your personal and professional goals.

of motivated and hard-working individuals that align with your vision. Creating

best practices with human resources, creating systems and processes to enable
employee success, how to hold team accountable, how to effectively delegate and
how to empower vs micro-manage your team.
Instructor:
Megan Stanley, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA, is the owner
of Dogma Training & Pet Services Inc. in Calgary, Canada. Through Dogma,
Megan developed a unique and comprehensive dog training apprenticeship program
that is one of a kind in Canada. She started her professional dog training
career as the Internal Canine Behavior coordinator at the Calgary Humane
Society. Megan also was a founding member and president of the Pause4Change
Rescue Foundation and served on the Animal Rescue Foundation board. She was the
designated trainer for the Alberta Rescue Foundation and a consultant for
Cochrane Humane Society, transitioning both of these organizations to become
leaders in training. She has also been a certified mentor trainer for Animal
Behavior College. Most recently, Megan launched www.everydoghasitsdayblog.com to create a
community of support and sharing for entrepreneurs.
