LEI: How to Conduct a Literature Review

A literature review is often the starting point for a journal article, evidence-based practice (EBP) project, or a research study. However, the literature review is often the most difficult part of any writing or research project. This course will provide a process for completing a literature review that is aligned with the EBP process. Additionally, tips and advice on how to use the process for other projects or papers will also be provided.

By the completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
  • Discuss why a literature review is conducted
  • Describe a process to complete a literature review
  • Apply the literature review process to necessary research projects or review papers

CE ACCREDITATION
This self-study is P.A.C.E. ® accredited. One (1) P.A.C.E. ® contact hour and one (1) Florida credit hour in the area General (Education) will be awarded to participants. ASCLS P.A.C.E.® is accepted by the ASCP/ASCLS/AGT Board of Certification and all states, including Florida and California, as an approved provider of continuing education for recertification and licensure. ASCLS is an approved provider with CE Broker for Florida licensees.
