Description

Leading dermatology experts present the latest in laser and energy-based devices and tissue microcoring technology for clinical applications. This webinar will include brief presentations followed by a roundtable discussion where attendees are encouraged to participate with questions and interact live with faculty. This webinar will help participants become aware of the latest laser and energy-based devices and tissue microcoring technology becoming available in a non-biased, open and honest discussion format.

Immediately after the presentations, we will activate the cameras and mics of attendees so they can participate live with questions and interact with faculty.

Learning Objectives

Following this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Compare and differentiate between new laser and energy-based devices and tissue microcoring technology.
  • Discuss patient profiles, treatments and safety protocols with new laser and energy-based devices and tissue microcoring technology.
  • Assess how they may incorporate newly approved laser and energy-based devices and tissue microcoring technology into their treatment portfolios.

Mat Avram, MD, JD
Faculty / Presenter

Dr.  Avram is a board certified dermatologist and the Director of Massachusetts General Hospital Dermatology Laser & Cosmetic Center. He also serves as Director of Laser, Cosmetic and Dermatologic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Faculty Director for Laser and Cosmetic Training in the Department of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, Associate Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, and co-Director of the MGH/Wellman Laser & Cosmetic Fellowship Program.




    Ashish Bhatia, MD
    Faculty / Presenter

    Dr. Bhatia is a board certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. He expertise includes facial and        body aesthetic surgery, skin cancer therapy, Mohs and reconstructive surgery, laser surgery and various        skin resurfacing procedures. Dr. Bhatia is part founder of Oak Dermatology in Illinois.




Eric Bernstein, MD, MSE
Faculty /  Presenter

Dr. Bernstein is a board certified dermatologist and the Director of Main Line Center for Laser Surgery in Ardmore, PA. His practice focuses heavily on studies of new lasers for FDA clearance, and as a result, Dr. Bernstein if often the first to receive state-of-the-art laser technologies. Dr. Bernstein currently serves on the ASDS Board of Directors.



Catherine DiGiorgio, MD
Faculty / Presenter

Dr. DiGiorgio is a board certified dermatologist and Harvard fellowship-trained laser and cosmetic dermatologist. She is an expert in laser and cosmetic procedures. Dr. DiGiorgio founded CMD Dermatology, Laser & Aesthetic in Boston, MA where she currently practices.


Paul Friedman, MD
Faculty / Presenter

Dr. Friedman is a board certified dermatologist and the director of Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center in Houston, TX. He is well-known in the field of laser medicine, cosmetic dermatology, and Mohs surgery. Dr. Friedman has also been involved in the development of several new laser systems now used throughout the world.


Roy Geronemus, MD
Faculty / Presenter

Dr. Geronemus is a board certified dermatologist and the Director of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York. He is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at New York University Medical Center, where he founded the laser program. Dr. Geronemus is also a past President of ASDS.



Gilly Munavalli, MD
Faculty / Presenter

Dr. Munavalli is a board certified dermatologist and the medical director and founder of Dermatology, Laser & Vein Specialists of the Carolinas. He has nearly 20 years of experience in dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
