Speakers
Dr. Stephanie Devaney
Dr. Kathryn North

Description
Several large scale national studies have been launched to collect phenotypic and genomic data on large populations. These studies will form the basis for future initiatives in precision medicine. This webinar will describe some of the major approaches being used in these studies around the world, and will highlight the progress in assembling the cohort of 1,000,000 participants in the All of Us Research Program in the United States.

Learning Objectives
  • Describe major international approaches to population genomic studies
  • Explain the approach to genomic data collection and return of results to be employed in the All of Us Research Program
  • Describe the approaches to enrollment of diverse populations in population genomic studies
