No video from the player?

Try watching the video at a lower resolution. You are able to change the resolution of the player by going to the gear icon at the bottom right of the player, start with the lowest resolution and work your way up until the player is smooth. The recommended browsers are current versions of Firefox or Chrome. Make sure to press play on the player as well.

No audio from the player?

Check to see if it's muted - if you are still not hearing audio from the event, try refreshing your browser window.  Then hover over the video player and click on the  unmute button at the bottom left corner of the video.

Check your computer sound settings
 - specifically audio playback devices. If none of these are working for you then try another device.

I am experiencing slow responsiveness, sudden stops and latency issues in the video player

  • The preferred browsers are current versions of Chrome or Firefox.
  • Close any non-essential windows and applications. This ensures you have the bandwidth necessary for the video player.
  • Check your internet connection by running a speed test to determine your download speed. To view a 720/HD stream, you will need an approximate download speed of at least 1.5 mbps.


How do I look at my progress in the ON-DEMAND platform?

You can view your progress by clicking on your name in the upper right hand corner. From your profile you can select the My Activity tab to see your progress.

Can I earn CEUs at the Annual Meeting?

The ASHT 2023 Annual Meeting will provide attendees the opportunity to earn CE credits. Get the full details on our Accreditation page.

How long do I have to retrieve my CE Certificate?

All attendees (virtual and in-person) will need to retrieve their 2023 continuing education certificate by January 31, 2024.

Please note:
All attendees will have on-demand access to the meeting content through September 1, 2024, but following the January 2024 CE deadline, this content will be for viewing pleasure only.

Will ASHT provide a virtual component?

ASHT will once again offer virtual registration for the Annual Meeting.
From September 28 - October 15, 2023, virtual attendees will have access to the e-Posters, Virtual Exhibitor Directory and recorded plenary sessions. (Please see on-demand schedule here.) Recorded concurrent sessions and Pre-Conference Institutes (if previously purchased) will be available in the on-demand platform by October 16, 2023. There will be no livestreamed sessions.

Virtual registration may be purchased until December 31, 2023.


What are Pre-Conference Institutes?

ASHT offers Pre-Conference Institutes ("Pre-Cons") prior to the official start of the Annual Meeting. These educational sessions offer intense hands-on learning, highlighting current hand and upper extremity topics. These sessions are capped (on-site), ticketed and require pre-registration. 

How do I access my Pre-Cons?

  • In-person attendees will participate live on site
  • Virtual attendees can view their purchased Pre-Conference Institutes in the on-demand platform starting on October 16, 2023.

Will speakers and moderators be in person?

Yes! All ASHT speakers and moderators will be in person during the annual meeting in San Antonio, TX.

What are the health & safety protocols for in-person attendees in San Antonio, TX?

The health and safety of all ASHT participants and staff, along with their family members, coworkers and patients continue to remain our top priority and we’d like to thank you for your support as we plan this year's meeting. We are planning a robust conference as the health, safety and well-being of the ASHT community is our highest priority. ASHT staff and volunteer leaders continue to actively monitor updates from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization to ensure we are meeting in a safe environment.

ASHT will issue any updates if required regarding health, safety and travel protocols.
