  • Prof. Andrew Houck, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University

    Andrew Houck is a professor of electrical engineering and physics at Princeton University and the director of the Princeton Quantum Initiative. His research focuses on superconducting quantum computing and quantum simulation. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the President's Early Career Award for Science and Engineering and the Packard Fellowship, and currently serves as the chair for the Division of Quantum Information in the American Physical Society. Professor Houck is a dedicated teacher, and has worked to develop a novel sequence of freshmen courses to improve retention, especially among under-represented students, in STEM disciplines at Princeton.
