  • Kimberley Hayes

    Kimberley Hayes is the Director of Global Business Development for VMI and is responsible for cultivating strategic and tactical initiatives supporting oil and gas market research and new product development. Her focus is on meeting real-world customer needs while pressing innovation in current and future requirements through the NDE 4.0 digital transformation and UAS/robotics initiatives in the inspection arena. She possesses more than 20 years of nondestructive testing experience in MT, PT, UT, PAUT, ET and most recently radiographic testing (RT). Prior to joining VMI in September 2019, she was a Business Development Manager at Olympus Scientific Solutions Americas since 2015 and ITW Magnaflux since 1997.

    She participates in many professional committees such as ASME, API, ASNT, and other industrial societies. Kimberley also participates globally on the SPRINT Robotics committee, working to develop collaborative innovation of robotics in the inspection realm. She has also published and presented in aerospace and petroleum industry outlets.

    Kimberley has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science degree with Minors in Mathematics and Computer Information Systems from Jacksonville State University. She is also Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certified from California State Fullerton and most recently has received a certificate for Artificial Intelligence, Business Strategy from MIT.

  • Donald P. Blanchette

    Donald is currently the Senior Educational Services Specialist / Auditor with Mistras Group Inc. He served as adjunct facility for over 20 years at Three Rivers College, located in Connecticut, and has taught programs on nondestructive testing, statistics, quality, and principles of auditing as part of the college’s mechanical engineering program. His expertise ranges from workforce development, nondestructive testing applications, and training and certification to technology integration.

    He has published numerous articles and papers and delivered frequent presentations on the topic of technology and integration strategies. He is a Fellow of ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) where he also served on the National Board of Directors and technical advisory committees. He has also held a number of ASNT leadership positions at local levels.

    Donald holds a BS in Workforce Development from Southern Illinois University, an AS degree in Science and Technology, and an AS degree in Liberal Arts from Three Rivers College. His career includes working with both domestic and international organizations in a diverse range of industries including aerospace, nuclear, shipbuilding, and petrochemical.
