Description

Full matrix capture (FMC) and the total focusing method (TFM) are advanced ultrasonic testing acquisition and post-processing techniques, respectively, that can be implemented in real-time inspections. FMC/TFM provides many benefits over conventional phased array, with a number of unique features, such as high-resolution reconstruction grid, viewing of several wave modes from one setup, and improved discontinuity characterization and sizing. This webinar will start off with a review of the fundamentals of FMC/TFM that leads into a discussion of the latest improvements and optimizations of the technique.
