Its role has increasingly been outward facing as technology interactions with members and the public continually increase. You could even make the argument that IT has become the most significant entity in an organization, although it wasn’t always that way. Brian K. Willard, CAE, MBA is the Sr Business Intelligence Analyst / Project Manager for the American Library Association. Previously, he was the founder and president of BK Solutions, Inc. which provided technology consulting and project management to associations. Mr. Willard has been providing technology solutions since 1988 working for associations, an association Management Company and an AMS Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from DeVry, and an MBA with a concentration in project management from Roosevelt University. He was a board member for Association Forum for four years and the Chair of the Association Forum Technology Committee. He has also has been published in numerous technology and project management publications.
