Continuing Education Credit Program

  1. What CEU types are available?
ATIA is a CE Provider for the following CEUs: IACET (International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training); ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association); AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association); ACVREP (Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professionals). In addition, ATIA is an approved provider with the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification for Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) CEUs for selected sessions.

Not all education sessions offered qualify for all CEUs. Please check the individual course description in for the CEUs available for that course.

For full information on ATIA CEUs or if you have any questions regarding CEUs, please visit the ATIA Learning Center CEU webpage or contact ceus@atia.org.

  2. How do I obtain my CEUs?
CEUs can only be claimed once you have attended a live session or viewed a recorded session. Once viewed, you will be prompted to complete a feedback survey of the session. Upon completion of the feedback survey, a certificate of completion will automatically generate. You will then have access to the CEU Assessment & Certificates section. Select the CEU assessment you would like to claim CEUs for. Once you complete the assessment for the IACET, AOTA, ACVREP, and/or CRC CEUs you will be able to download your certificate. All CEU certificates that you earn are stored in your learner profile.

If you are claiming ASHA CEUs, upon completion of the ASHA CEU assessment, a certificate of completion will generate for you. ATIA will submit all responses to ASHA within the time frame allotted by ASHA. Please be sure to update your profile with your ASHA ID number for the ASHA review and approval process. ASHA will post ASHA CEUs to your profile on the ASHA CE Registry within 4-6 weeks.
