Overview
This session will
explore what defines accessible video and where to actually find accessible
educational video that can be used in the classroom or at home. Covers the
concepts of captioning, audio description, and universal design for EDU video.
Attendees will learn about DCMP's free video-on-demand library of over 8,000
fully accessible educational videos that are available on via streaming on
dcmp.org, mobile apps, Roku, and Apple TV channels. and how to apply for free
membership.

Kyle Sisk
Described and Captioned Media Program
Kyle Sisk serves as the Information Systems Manager for the
Described and Captioned Media Program. He joined DCMP as an Accessible Media
Specialist in 2009 and now leads video, technical, and development operations.
Kyle previously worked as an independent video producer for 10 years and stays
involved in that community through volunteer work for two non-profits he's
passionate about in his "spare time". He studied at Limestone College
in Gaffney, SC earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of
Information Systems in 2003. He lives in Spartanburg, SC with his wife and
three young children.
