Overview
This session is an overview of Assistive Technology for Executive Functioning with High- and Low-Tech tools. The session will discuss three common areas of Executive Functioning deficits. An overview of methods for supporting students with Executive Functioning deficits will be discussed. Case studies of tools to help students with memory, attention, or organizational difficulties will be presented.

Cassie Frost has been in the special education field for thirteen years, teaching in environments including a residential treatment facility, alternative school and the public school system. She has specialized in students who struggle with emotional and behavioral disabilities, autism, and behaviors resulting from learning disabilities. Cassie has extensive experience utilizing technology to engage students, providing access to educational materials, and creating interactive and positive learning environments. Additionally she has spent three years focusing specifically on Assistive Technology to make learning available to all students. Cassie holds a Masters degree in Education and has been a presenter at state level and national level Special Education, Technology, and Assistive Technology Conferences including ATIA, Closing the Gap, and ISTE.
