We all have something to share and now is your chance! Join us for a Professional Development and Collaboration Tools Smackdown! This highly interactive, participant-driven session will consist of everyone sharing their favorite resources across a wide range of areas. Topics will be decided on by the group during the session and participants will be able to share live during the session - or send in their ideas prior to, adding to the combined knowledge base. Topic areas for sharing will include: Powerful collaboration tools; Favorite PD experience; Most effective coaching strategy; Favorite professional book, and other topics identified by the group!
Learning Objectives
First Learning Objective: Participants will identify at least three new ideas for providing effective professional learning experiences to educators.
Second Learning Objective: Participants will assess four new strategies for comprehensive technology coaching and implementation.
Third Learning Objective: Participants will describe a minimum of five technology tools to promote collaboration and learning.

Biography
Mike is a RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional, and the ISTE Inclusive Learning Network (https://inclusiveln.org/) 2017 Outstanding Educator, who has been providing direct services to individuals with all disabilities for 30 years. He runs his own technology consulting firm, Inclusive Technology Solutions, LLC. As an evaluator, Mike works collaboratively with teams in all environments (school, workplace, and community) to effectively match the individual's needs to technology supports. Mike is a nationally and internationally recognized presenter who was previously a trainer for California State University at Northridge (CSUN), providing practical and in-depth training to professionals interested in specializing in assistive technology. In addition, Mike is an adjunct professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey (NJ) where he teaches courses for Masters level educators in Assistive Technology and Universal Design for Learning. Mike is the Director of the Richard West Assistive Technology Advocacy Center at Disability Rights New Jersey, the statewide Assistive Technology Act program for New Jersey. Mike is also a member of the Faculty at the Center on Technology and Disabilities, serves on both the CAST Accessible Educational Materials and Center on Inclusive Technology and Education Systems (CITES) Advisory Boards. Mike is one of the co-authors of the ISTE book Inclusive Learning 365: Edtech Strategies for Every Day of the Year. Biography
Elisa Wern is an Occupational Therapist, with a Master’s degree in Special Education, and RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) with over 20 years of experience in pediatric therapy. She presents at a variety of state and national conferences including regional trainings, CEC, PATINS A2E, ATIA, OTAP/ECHO TIES Project, CATE, and AAC in the Cloud. She receives a salary as the Local Assistive Technology Specialist for Alachua County Schools in Gainesville, Florida, where she coordinates AT services for the district, and serves as the Lead Occupational Therapist. In her spare work time she has a private practice, AT & OT Consulting and Coaching, supporting students and families primarily through teletherapy evaluations, consultations, and interventions. Through this practice she receives payment for therapy and assistive technology services as well as honorariums for some presentations. She also volunteers for AT Makers coordinating the Intellikeys Project. She is the co-author of a chapter with Sarah Gregory, in the recently published, Fundamentals of AAC: A Case-Based Approach to Enhancing Communication, for which they receive no compensation. Kelli has a background in general education and special education classrooms. She holds a bachelor's degree in education from Indiana University/Purdue University with licensing in both general and special education K-6. Kelli has national, state and regional presentation, keynote and training experience. She does have a strong understanding of and ability to connect theory to practice. Her instructional experience has been with students requiring mild, moderate, and intense intervention. Kelli's specializations include Autism, Accessible Educational Materials & Assistive Technology: Secondary Age, Chrome Accessibility & Integration, Specific Learning Disabilities: Primary Age.
