VE-TWA-04: Back to Work or Work at Home? Accommodating a Hybrid Workforce

Overview

As employers adapt their business practices to current trends, new accommodation challenges continue to emerge. This presentation will feature real life accommodation scenarios in which an interactive process was used to successfully identity and implement reasonable accommodations for employees and job seekers with disabilities, including teleworkers, returning onsite workers, and workers transitioning to a hybrid model of employment. Presenters will also identify resources to assist employers and service providers in identifying and providing effective accommodations.

Content Disclosure: This session is focused on resources and case studies from the Job Accommodation Network (JAN), a federally funded program to promote and support workplace accommodation policies and programs for individuals with disabilities. There will be limited or no information provided about similar research projects or case studies.
