Overview
When implemented appropriately, current adaptive gaming technology not only allows individuals to participate in gaming, but also to play alongside individuals not using adaptive gaming equipment. Furthermore, this equipment can translate to additional tasks related to daily independence such as computer and device access, leading to an even greater overall level of independence for those using adaptive gaming equipment. This presentation will provide an overview of current adaptive gaming equipment and then dive into the technical aspects of each device, as well as best practices to optimize the set up and training for each user.
