Overview
Technology for Fall Prevention will explore technology that can be used to assist with increasing the safety and independence of those at risk for falling. This includes exploring adaptive equipment for daily activities and community mobility. The steps for determining the appropriate technology, from fall risk evaluation to training, will be reviewed. Fall prevention resources will be shared, and participants will discuss case studies and have the opportunity to seek input from other participants and the speaker on challenges they have encountered.
