AWSP strives to be an anti-racist organization. Being actively anti-racist is foundational to all of our work, our advocacy and efforts. To support principals and the principalship in the education of all students, we are deeply committed to achieving both of our Strategic Plan Goals:

- Lead on diversity and equity issues in support of historically underserved populations.
- Creating longer principal tenures within their buildings.

As part of this effort we've created this online workshop series: The Equity Focused Leader.

The aim of this course is to establish, and teach the common vocabulary necessary for racially literate leadership. Being a racially literate leader allows you to more effectively be an anti-racist leader to the benefit of all students whether they are white or Black, Brown or Indigenous.
