Description

Recent building codes and related standards have begun to include requirements for testing and commissioning. Many also reference ASHRAE Standard 202, The Commissioning Process for Buildings and Systems. This session reviews many essential documents and outlines their commissioning requirements, along with the application procedures. Since commissioning is now included in building code requirements, the correct performance of the commissioning process is even more important. These code requirements are not all the same or even necessarily coordinated, thus a personal interface with, and instruction of, the enforcement authorities becomes critical.
