    Description

    Traditionally, building turnover documentation and facility training is an after-thought to contractors as building construction is being completed. It is often performed at the wrong time, with the wrong trainers, with little expectation or accountability from the owner. There are many inherent challenges placed on facility managers, and a poor turnover process from the construction team can start everything off on the wrong foot.
    With a renewed emphasis on building performance standards, building owners are going to expect that buildings actually do perform. The commissioning process has been able to influence results through strong functional performance testing, but there is room to improve the building turnover process.
    This webinar will focus on building turnover documentation and training. We will discuss what information should be gathered and how the commissioning process can be leveraged to improve the handoff process.
