If additional participants wish to earn continuing education credits please make sure they sign the AIA form and email back to sadams@bcxa.org. There is a $25 fee for each additional participant. As soon as payment has been made each individual will receive an access code to obtain their certificate for credits.

    • Janelle Griffin, PE, CCP

      Janelle Griffin leads the Operations group at RTI International where she is responsible for the operation and monitoring of MEP systems at the 1 million square foot research campus. She utilizes her background in engineering and commissioning to lead continued improvements in building performance, reliability, safety, and energy efficiency. Prior to RTI she was a commissioning project manager at Dewberry for 5 years. Her experience includes new and existing building commissioning, and energy modeling for healthcare, classroom, office, museum, laboratory, military, and dormitory facilities. She believes that project delivery can be improved by bridging gaps in communication and knowledge across project teams, resulting in high performing buildings. Experience of note includes: RTI Campus BAS Replacement, Pentagon Chiller Plant Integrity Study and Long-Term Plan, retro-commissioning at MacDill Air Force Base and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, commissioning Veteran’s Affairs Outpatient Clinics, the Regional Medical Center, as well as various state government and higher education facilities. Ms. Griffin received a BS in Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering from the University of Miami and a MS at NC State University where she focused on energy conservation in early building design and environmental sustainability.
