09.12.18 | The Principles & Use of Infrared Thermography in Commissioning

This webinar demonstrates the exciting science and beneficial use of infrared (IR) thermography, and its potential and limitations in commissioning. We will look at examples of how the presenter has used IR thermography to identify leaking control valves, leaky building envelopes, improper blending in AHUs, poor wire connections, failed steam traps, poor window frame insulation, and other problem identification. The webinar covers important information to include in an IR thermography report as well as common features of IR cameras that aid in displaying the desired information. You’ll be able to understand the various cameras and devices available in the marketplace and find additional resources for training and certification. Ample time will be provided to answer questions.
