Description

Commissioning isn’t just for buildings! Our entire infrastructure has evolved to a level of complexity that embraces an increasingly multi-phase and multi-disciplinary integrated commissioning process. Commissioning of horizontal structures (roadways, bridges, tunnels and rails) requires integration of quality management for successful design, construction and delivery. Nick Baker will discuss new and different systems that are included in the scope of commissioning horizontal structures, like fire/life safety, electrical distribution, traffic control, communications, and channelization, to name a few, plus how these systems integrate with energy consuming and occupant comfort systems, and with each other.
