Who is it for?
This course is essential for all members of the imaging and radiation oncology team including diagnostic radiographers, therapeutic radiographers, radiologists, oncologists, physicists, technicians, technologists and others.  

Why do this course?
This course will ensure you are equipped with the skills and knowledge to communicate effectively with your patients as part of your day-to-day practice. The course will cover how to communicate with your patient through the patient imaging and treatment pathways, and will include how to adapt your practice for different patient groups such as transgender patients, paediatric patients, those with claustrophobia, anxiety, autism, dementia and more.

About this course
It will comprise of approximately 1.5 hour of narrated video content divided into digestible 20-minute sessions, together with test questions throughout and an assessment at the end, awarding a CPD certificate. Footage includes illustrations, animations, live action, and recorded interviews. This course provides 2 CPD credits in accordance with the CPD Scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists.
