Strategies to Engage and Retain Your Member Base


Every year associations set goals to grow and engage their member base and implement a range of strategies designed to achieve these goals. However, many associations fail to meet these goals because they're not able to effectively convey their value proposition. When associations struggle to communicate the value of, and benefits associated with membership, it can adversely impact the organization’s membership engagement and retention efforts. This webinar will help you answer questions like:

  • Will members engage with the association after joining?
  • Do members find value in what the association offers?
  • Will members know how the association can assist them?
  • Are our online tools “easy” enough for the members to use?

  • Amanda Davis, CMP

    Amanda has nearly ten years of experience in the association world, strategically focused on learning products. With multiple association roles as Director of Learning & Development and Online Learning Manager, Amanda has a deep understanding of the adult learning landscape and what keeps association executives up at night. Amanda recognizes the importance of strong learning technologies for today’s nimble associations and hopes through her role with Blue Sky eLearn, she’ll be able to contribute to the success of our growing mix of association clients.

    Amanda graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, with a degree in Communications Studies with a concentration in Interpersonal Communications. She and her husband are parents of a two-year old boy, Leo. Amanda enjoys playing competitive tennis, completing DIY projects for their very own “Fixer Upper”, and community outreach activities through their church. Seemingly she stays very busy but is always sure to make time for family fun.

  • Shaun O'Reilly

    Shaun has more than 25 years of marketing and demand generation experience with 15 of those years focused specifically on business-to-business marketing for technology companies. Prior to joining MemberSuite, Shaun held roles as Senior Director of Marketing at Simeio Solutions (a managed services company providing identity and access management solutions) and Director of Global Demand Generation at Tangoe (a provider of managed mobility and IT expense management solutions.) Today as the VP of Marketing at MemberSuite, he is an advocate for the importance of data management and segmentation to increase outreach relevance, achieve goals, and increase revenue.
