Supervision Workshop SeriesCalifornia LMFTs and LCSWs are required to obtain 6 hours of Supervision training within the two-year period immediately preceding supervision and every renewal period when supervising. Any of these NEW courses offered by CAMFT were designed to meet the qualifications for CE credit for LMFTs and LCSWs as required by the BBS for Supervision.
All three 6-hour courses when taken together can be used to fulfill the educational requirements for becoming a CAMFT Certified Supervisor and Supervision law and ethics course requirements. In addition, these workshops can also stand on their own as a resource for anyone who provides clinical supervision to prelicensed therapists and satisfies the BBS’ supervision requirements.
Please note: Effective July 1, 2015, BBS-licensees may obtain all of their required CE hours through self study (previously limited to one-half of the total required hours), if the self-study course is offered by an an acceptable CE provider.
