The Coronavirus pandemic and resulting stay-at-home orders have been with us for nearly a year, but CAMFT's legal department continues to receive numerous calls from therapists with pressing questions about telehealth law. It's never too late to gain the knowledge you need to practice like a pro without leaving your home!
UPDATE: CPH has clarified that if a provider with a CPH policy is moving out of the country they must notify CPH in writing. CPH will make coverage determinations in such circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Please feel free to reach out to CPH if you have any questions regarding its out-of-state telehealth coverage policies.

- HIPAA regulations pertaining to the use of videoconferencing platforms and payment processing apps
- The provision of telehealth services when the therapist or the patient is located outside of California
- Considerations related to giving up one's office, and providing outdoor therapy as an alternative to telehealth
