This presentation will provide participants with a framework for both assessing their own readiness to re-enter the social sphere and to utilize as a psychotherapeutic tool with clients. We will discuss the essential components to consider when planning for a successful re-entry into the world of work, friendship, and community activities.

  • Identify the three Zones of Comfort
  • Identify the difference between the Zone of Comfort for work, social, and community settings
  • Develop one scaffolding activity for themselves
  • Plan one coping strategy for a social situation in their stretch or panic zone
