Course Description:
As a result of the federal No Surprises Act, all health care providers and health care facilities licensed, certified or approved by the state must provide “good faith estimates” of expected charges for services and items offered to uninsured and self-pay patients. During her 1-hour presentation, CAMFT Staff Attorney, Sara Jasper, will give an overview of the No Surprises Act, explain the requirements for good faith estimates, and offer information that will enable MFTs to develop compliant practices and policies.
