The goal of private practitioners is to make a difference in their community — and make a healthy living doing so. What happens when the clinician is full? Seeing more clients sometimes leads to burnout. Referring them elsewhere can hurt referral relationships. One answer is to add clinicians (licensed or not) to the practice. This presentation will cover:
•Where, when and how to find additional clinicians.
•Systems from intake call through termination so it is easier to manage a multi-clinician center.
•Best practices with record-keeping, handling client payments, assigning rooms, payroll.
Upon completion of this workshop video, participants will be able to:
1. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a multi-clinician practice for the business owner, the additional clinicians and the practice clients.
2.Describe the steps in the Client Journey and the Associate Clinician journey. When there is clarity on the policies and procedures in a private practice, the business, the clinicians and the clients all benefit.
3.List at least two (2) conditions necessary to be successful with a multi-clinician practice so they can assess whether adding clinicians to their practice is a good business model for them at this time.
