2018 Teleconference & Archive Bundle: Directed Trusts: Understanding the Risks and Avoiding Liability

Directed trusts are becoming more common. Many states have adopted specific statutes to address in detail the relationship between the Trustee of a directed trust and the party holding the power to direct. Courts are grappling with complicated disputes related to directed trusts. We must be prepared to handle the unique drafting and liability risks as they develop, such as the following:

  • Relationship among directed Trustee, director and beneficiaries
  • Ways to slice and dice duties and responsibilities of trust administration
  • Liability of directed Trustees and party holding the power to direct
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your teleconference registration prior to the time the program Materials (Intellectual Property)/Pin are sent out by BSe, then you will be allowed a full refund of your registration fee. If you wish to cancel your teleconference registration AFTER the program Materials (Intellectual Property)/Pin are sent out by BSe, then you will be charged a $100 cancellation/materials fee.

Archive Note:CE credits available for event recordings are CTFA, CWS and AFIM. No other CE credits are approved for recordings. Your archive will be available within 5 days of the live event.
