DEA 2023 MATE Act Training Courses

Facing an overdose epidemic, and knowing overdose deaths are preventable, Congress passed a bill to set a new standard in healthcare to address addiction from every setting. Starting with DEA registrations on June 27, 2023, all DEA registered clinicians, other than veterinarians, are required to complete 8 total hours of training in Addiction Medicine. The training is led by Arianna Campbell, PA-C and John Luftig, PA-C and offers pragmatic ways to address addiction in any practice setting from PAs who are leaders in the field.

This 2 hour training offers an opportunity to meet the new DEA requirement, and can be added to CAPAs 6 hour CSEC course.
