Workplace violence refers to any act or threat of physical violence, harassment, intimidation, or other threatening disruptive behavior that occurs at the worksite. Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the National Crime Victimization Survey reveal that workplace violence is a significant threat to those in the healthcare industry .
In light of recent tragic events involving workplace violence, the Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. (CAP) wants to ensure that our member practices are prepared. CAP’s complimentary webinar, How Safe Are You? Responding to the Challenge of Workplace, Violence discussed the following topics:
