Thank you

This live web event has ended. Thank you for attending.

Description

This webinar will offer attendees 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education/California Medical Association (ACCME/CMA) through The Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc.

CAP designates this webinar for a maximum of one AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Every year, medical practices must comply with new and revised CPT codes, Medicare rules, and other billing updates that if not implemented correctly, can directly impact your quality of care and bottom line. Join the Cooperative of American Physicians (CAP) for a free one-hour webinar, featuring healthcare business operations and reimbursement management expert Mary Jean Sage, to learn more about the latest critical billing and coding updates and ensure your practice is receiving appropriate reimbursements in 2022.

At the conclusion of this program, attendees will be able to:

  • Update their revenue cycle management for all patients including Medicare patients.
  • Discover what new revenue opportunities are possible.
  • Demonstrate competency with new coding and billing changes.
  • Respond compliantly to a request for documentation or a review by Medicare or any other third-party payer – either pre-payment or post payment.
  • Understand the challenges in reporting all services, including new services, for their patient population in a compliant manner.
  • Give an overview of updates to CPT codes, E/M changes, billing rules for NPP, telehealth reimbursements, MIPS guidelines, and more.

The discussion will be followed by audience Q&A. All registrants will receive the recording and slides once they are available. CAP is pleased to present this program in association with our county medical society partners statewide.
