Signed into law in May 2022, Assembly Bill (AB 35) significantly increases the caps on noneconomic damages and attorney’s fees in medical malpractice lawsuits, which will likely result in a surge of medical malpractice claims frequency and severity after it goes into effect on January 1, 2023.

To learn more about the pending challenges associated with AB 35, register for CAP’s 4th Annual Public Affairs Symposium, where a panel of legislative experts and policy analysts will provide insight into what the legislation means for your medical professional liability risk and discuss how you can protect your practice.
