Join your fellow members for CAP's 5th Annual Public Affairs Symposium!

This virtual event is a CAP exclusive program to give members first-hand insight into recent and emerging healthcare-related legislation impacting their practices and their patients. You will hear from the experts directly involved in influencing policies at the state and federal levels on behalf of CAP and its members, and independent physicians everywhere.

This year’s Symposium will address the following legislation and issues:

    Peter Mitchell is a bi-partisan, political analyst of California Politics for over 17 years. In January of 2002, he was honored to form P.M. Consulting, Inc., a political/public affairs firm specializing in: independent expenditures; comprehensive non-partisan analysis on state and federal elections; fundraising; organization/public speaking; political campaign consulting; polling/research, strategy and management; and other services.

  • Robert H. Bradner, Partner, Holland & Knight

    Robert H. Bradner is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Federal Practice. With more than 30 years of experience working in the legislative and regulatory arena, Mr. Bradner provides counseling, strategy development, drafting, and advocacy services on a range of complex and difficult federal matters. He works through Congress, the Administration, and the regulatory process to shape developments in areas such as Medicare reimbursement, Medicaid, the regulation of healthcare providers, health insurance markets, biomedical research, and public health programs. He also works on initiatives related to the Veterans Health Administration and U.S. Department of Defense health programs.

  • Lindsay Gullahorn

    Lindsay Gullahorn brings over a decade of political, legislative and policy experience to the firm as a lobbyist at Capitol Advocacy. Her expertise and advocacy, both at the legislative and regulatory levels, provide clients with demonstrated results and a comprehensive perspective on a variety of complex issues. Beginning her career at Capitol Advocacy over a decade ago, Lindsay’s longevity has proven invaluable for each client. She brings a deep understanding and historical background of policy issues pertinent to them. Her knowledge and experience provide clients with ongoing updates and analysis on their key priorities and the politics that impact them.

  • Gabriela Villanueva

    Gabriela Villanueva is CAP’s Government and External Affairs Analyst. Prior to joining CAP, she worked at the California State Capitol as a Senior Legislative Aid. For CAP, she provides analysis of state and federal legislation that impacts CAP, its membership, and the medical professional liability industry in general. She is a graduate of Occidental College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Comparative Literature Studies.
