2021 Webinar - Natural Catastrophe Recap and Outlook for the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season - April 13

This session will review natural catastrophes of the past twelve months, including the extremely active severe convective, hurricane and wildfire seasons, as well as the more recent 2021 February cold winter weather episode that had significant humanitarian and financial impacts across Texas. The initial outlook for the 2021 Atlantic hurricane season will also be discussed in detail, with a focus on the modeling techniques currently used to issue these forecasts. The session will further examine the outlook for ENSO and other climate features that may significantly impact the upcoming hurricane season.
